Sunday Sweeps for 15s and 18s
After 10-0 and 9-0 wins over the Ottawa- Nepean Canadians on Saturday the 15u Terriers came away with two more victories on Sunday by scores of 11-1 and 4-1. 

The 18u Terriers were rained out Saturday but did play Sunday in Oakville versus the Ontario Yankees.

The Terriers won game one by a 10-2 score while game two was 8-6 decision. 

 

In Sunday's game one win Sebastian Mizner had the ball for the 15u Terriers.

He weaved his way through three and two thirds innings of work before handing the ball off to Jordan Woods who recorded the next four outs. 

Righthander Max Lanoue pitched the sixth. He struck out two. 

 

In the bottom of the third the Terriers would rally for five runs, all with two out.

Bryce Burgess-Whiting and Owen Sartor drew back to back walks setting the stage for Cameron Chee- Aloy who smashed a clutch 2 RBI triple to center field.

After a walk to Andrew Johnston, Chee- Aloy swiped home on a double steal.

The Terriers were still not done in the inning.

With Brayden Makowich and Nicolas Daoust aboard Jack Lamont stepped in and wired a 2 RBI single to center, capping the five run third.

 

The Terriers tacked on six more runs in innings four through six  for the 11-1 victory.  

 

Game two was ‎much closer with a 4-1 score.

Lucas Roberts pitched into the fifth before Nicolas Daoust came on to get the final eight outs. 

 

Owen Sartor, Will Yamka, Max Lanoue and Hugh Pinkney and all had hits in the victory.

Owen had a single, a double a triple and scored twice.

 

In game one of the 18u division DH lefty Connor Carr- Matthews picked up the win. He worked four innings and left the game with a seven run lead. 

 

The Terriers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead when Zach Marriott and Dante Wright crossed. ‎Zach scored on a bases loaded walk and Dante scored on a Daniel Freeman RBI single that was laced to left.

 

The Yankees answered with two runs of their own to tie the game in the second but the Terriers put the game away with a seven run outburst in the third.

The big blow came of the bat of Christian Bottero, a 3 RBI double to the gap in left. 

Jamal Armstrong, Daniel Freeman, Ethan Sanasie- Edwards and Zach Marriott also had RBIs in the inning.

 

Sam Worthen fired the final three innings in the 10-2 win. He struck out ‎four.

 

Game two on Sunday night was a back and fourth barn burner. 

Offensively it was highlighted by a two run homer by Matt Ward and a three run bomb by Brendan McQuinn. 

 

The big hit on the night however went to Christian Bottero in the seventh.

Trailing 6-5 with two out Marriott and Ward were aboard when Christian rocked a 2 RBI double to the fence in left for a 7-6 Terriers lead.

Christian crossed a batter later to make it 8-6 on a Jack Iannuzzi RBI single.  

 

The SR Terriers are 9-1.
