15s Open Nashville with Win
On a very hot humid Fourth of July in Nashville TN lefty Jordan Woods struck out ten going five and a third‎ to record the win over the East Cobb Patriots (GA). He was relieved by Max Lanoue who got the final five outs to seal the opening game 5-2 victory.

The Terriers edged out to a 2-0 lead in the second when Andrew Johnston got the inning going with a single to centerfield.

He went to second on a pass ball, then third on Jack Duggan's ground out.

Andrew  would eventually cross on Will Yamka's RBI single through the three- four hole.

Yamka scored the second run of the inning on a wild pitch after two more singles by Hugh Pinkney and Owen Sartor.

‎In the top of the third Cameron Chee-Aloy smacked a lead off single, swiped second then scampered to third on Brayden Makowich's excellent bunt single towards third.

Max Lanoue picked up an RBI when Cameron scored on his ground out to short, then Brayden would plate the Terriers fourth run later in the inning courtesy of some sloppy Patriot defense.

In the sixth Makowich would cross again on another Will Yamka RBI for a 5-0 lead.

The Patriots began to fight back in their half of the sixth scoring two runs.

That was as close as they would get however, going quietly in the seventh.

The Terriers will play two more pool games tomorrow afternoon before the playoff round begins.
