Elijha Hammill Taking His Talents To Utah
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Thursday, April 23, 2020
Terriers infielder Elijha Hammill has taken the next step in his already impressive life path when he committed to the University of Utah this week. Congratulations to Elijha, his parents and his siblings, all whom are a big part of this gifted young man's life.

Elijha is a profoundly gifted athlete ‎who is admired by his coaches and teammates alike. He is extremely charismatic and a true pleasure to be around both on and off the field.
As a switch hitter his bat speed is very advanced‎ for his age. He is also blessed with great arm strength and quick, clean hands around the bag. His instincts on the bases measure far beyond his years.

The University of Utah was founded in 1850 and is the flagship institution of higher learning in Utah. Located in Salt Lake City, it offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and more than 92 graduate degree programs.
Elijha will ‎be studying Business Management.

The Utes compete in one of the toughest NCAA D1 conferences in the nation - the PAC 12.
Their highly competitive schedule  includes games and series versus the likes of Stanford, the University of Arizona, USC, UCLA, Washington, Oergon and Oregon State.

Elijha is currently also a member of our Junior National Team where he started at second base in the 2019 World Championship.
Other accolades include being named MVP at the Oklahoma Sunbelt Tournament and was crowned champion of the Pitch, Hit and Run contest‎ in San Diego in 2016.

Continued success Eli.
