College Player of the Week: Elijha Hammill
After being given the day off in the first game of the week for Central Arizona College, former Terrier Elijha Hammill played so well that head coach John Howie couldn't take him out of the lineup.

Hammill went 2-for-3 with a triple, two walks, a RBI and a stolen base as the Vaqueros downed Glendale 19-15.

He followed that up with another 2-for-3 performances in a loss to Yavapai in the first game of a doubleheader.

In the back half, Hammill had a hit, a walk and drove in three as his team picked up a convincing 13-2 victory.

With a 3-1 week, Central Arizona is now 37-8 on the season.

Honourable Mentions

Sam Worthen secured saves No. 6 and 7 for D'Youville University. The right-hander threw three scoreleess innings, allowing two hits in a 7-0 Game 1 win over Queens. Thrust back into action in Game 2, he delivered a scoreless innings in a 2-0 victory. He gave up a hit and walked two in the outing.

Righty Matt Brown worked a scoreless 1.1 innings as the University of South Florida slipped by Wichita State 3-2 in 10 innings in Game 3 of their series.

Northeastern Junior College's Josh Cote hit is 14th and 15th home runs of the season in a two-game split with McCook. He finished with a walk and six RBI.

Another week meant another strong performance from University of Illinois outfielder Cameron Chee-Aloy atop the Illini lineup. Chee-Aloy stroked five hits, drove in two and was hit by a pitch in a 2-1 series win over Minnesota.

Owen MacNeil improved to 4-0 with five scoreless innings in the University of Charleston's Game 2 victory over Glenville State. He surrendered four hits, walked four and struck out four.

Offensively for the University of Charleston, AJ Karosas collected three hits, four RBI and was hit by a pitch. He swatted a two-run home run to back MacNeil in the Game 2 win.

Zach Marriott put together a three hit, two walk, two RBI week for Hendrix College.
