17U Terriers Split Sunday DH
After dropping game one by a 5-3 decision in extra innings the 17u Terriers bounced back with a 5-4 win over London in game two Sunday at Kings Collegiate.

London scored one in the first, one in the third and two in the fourth to take what looked like a commanding 4-0 lead.

The Terriers got back in the game in the bottom of the fourth when they scratched for two runs.

Tyler Offman lead the inning off with a thundering triple to center field then scored when AJ Karosas ripped an RBI double to left.

With Conrad Erasmus aboard later in the inning Jacob Mahoney lifted an RBI sac fly to right scoring Erasmus.

The Terriers tied the game in their half of the fifth after Matt Torrenson walked and Jakob Cellupica was hit by a pitch.

Both advanced on a wild pitch, then Torrenson scored on Connor O'Halloran's RBI liner to center field. Cellupica eventually crossed from third with out in the inning on Tyler Offman's RBI ground out to first.

The Terriers scored the game's winning run in the bottom of the sixth off the bat of Cellupica.

Jakob stepped in with two out and drilled a ground rule double to left, scoring Jacob Mahoney who had hit a flare to right earlier in the inning.

Luke Earle, Aiden Pickering, Kyle Nash and Matt Brown all saw action on the mound in the victory.

Brown recorded the final six outs and got credit for the win.

The 17's will play a four game set against the Ontario Royals next weekend.
