Ben Baker Lands in Sioux Center
Super athletic and versatile Terrier Ben Baker committed to Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa this past week. Congratulations to the entire Baker family on this achievement.

Ben has been training at The Baseball Zone for several years and has been a part of the Terriers program for the past four. During that time Ben has played multiple positions including infield, outfield, pitcher and catcher. He is an excellent team mate that can always be relied upon in any situation.

Further, he  is an outstanding defender with a plus arm. On the offensive side Ben consistently finds his way on base and is a menace on the base paths.

Dordt University is a private‎, Christian, liberal arts university. The university name is a reference to the Synod of Dordt. The Defenders compete in the GPAC Conference ( NAIA). They will open their 2020 campaign on February 14 in Marshall Missouri, then travel to Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, Arizona and South Dakota.

In addition to Varsity Baseball, Ben also ran the 100m and the 4 x 100m track in high school. Academically he  has been on the honor roll for four straight years.

Ben will study Biology at university. Congratulations, well deserved!
