Tyson Gomm Earns Scholarship To Texas Powerhouse
Congratulations to Tyson Gomm and the entire Gomm family on Tyson's recent commitment to San Jacinto College in Houston Texas.

Tyson has been on quite a roll over the past six months. In addition to competing at T12 where he was named tournament MVP, he was also selected to the Junior National Team roster last fall.

The San Jacinto Gators Baseball Program is one of the most storied and successful baseball programs in the country with 5 National Championships and 26 ‎JUCO World Series appearances. In the last five years, 18 San Jacinto players have been selected in the MLB first- year player draft.

Tyson is a confident left handed hitting catcher. He is athletic, quick, strong, has a plus arm and above average blocking skills. His foot speed and fast hands also gives him the versatility to play almost any other position on the field. At the plate he hits for average from gap to gap and has power to right and right-center field.
Tyson recently wrapped up his first trip with Team Canada where he competed well against pro teams such as the Jays and Phillies in Florida.

Last year the Aspen Institute for Community College Excellence named San Jacinto College one of the top 10 community colleges in the nation. Notable baseball alumni include Andy Pettitte, Roger Clemens and Matt Albers.

Some of Tyson's other accomplishments include being selected to the 2018 and 2019 PBR Future Games, and in addition he was on the roster in Oklahoma at the highly competitive Sunbelt Tournament.

Continued success Tyson!
