Ultimate Terrier Liam Carey Commits to Muskingum University
Submitted By Dan Thompson on Sunday, February 2, 2020
‎Great things happen to great people that work hard and persevere toward their goals. That is the case with long time Terrier RHP Liam Carey who  committed to Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio this week. The entire Terriers program congratulates the Carey family on this tremendous achievement.

Liam has put in countless hours at The Baseball Zone over the past seven plus years. His positive attitude and work ethic are beyond reproach. He joined the Terriers at 15u and has played at every level of the program.

Over the past two summers Liam has bagged two PBLO play-off championships with the 17u Teriers and is currently a roster player for the 18u Terriers. He was also honored with the John Jepson Award last season for generosity of spirit, sportsmanship, dedication to improvement and academic achievement.

Not surprisingly, Liam also won the Team Player Award for his high school baseball team, in addition to being an honor roll student for four consecutive years.

The Muskingum University campus was founded in 1837, sits on 245 acres one hour east of Columbus Ohio. It is home to 22 men's and women's varsity sports. The Fighting Muskies compete in the NCAA Ohio Athletic Conference, however they will open their 2020 campaign on March 1st in Ft. Pierce Florida. After nine days in the sunny south the Muskies will head home for the balance of their schedule including 18 conference games.

Liam will be studying Health and Fitness at Muskingum University.

Continued success to Liam on the field and in the classroom.
